It Begins

This is my first entry and since I really don't know where I will be going with this blog, I thought I would give you some facts about me and my interests. These so-called interests may not be the least interesting, but they will give you a bit of insight on where my future posts will be leading.

Here is a profile of me (or does it look like a resume?)

Name: Cool Breeze

Place of Birth: Richmond, Va

Residence: Eastern, Rural Va.

DOB: 1965

Sign: Capricorn

Family: Wife and daughter, dog and cat

Employment: Self Employed Small, Professional Business Owner

College Team: N.C. State Wolfpack

Pro Football: Dallas Cowboys

Nascar: Jeff Gordon

I like to hunt.

First Car: 1969 Camaro (I kick my self in the ass for ever selling it ... maybe I'll be able to own one again, someday)

My mother says I drink too much and that smoking will kill me like it did my 85 year old uncle.

I voted for McCain/Palin.

My father has passed away, but my mom is still a fireball.

I think the idiots in Washington, D.C. are going to make things tough on the people who actually support this country ... those of us who are actually accountable for the decisions we make ... not waiting for a handout or feel that we are entitled.

I love to sing, but I don't think I am very good.

I was cast in a national tv commercial as a principal actor the first time I ever went to a tryout.

I became licensed as a professional in my field of expertise at the age of 28.

My wife started a blog and since I felt like my feminine side was showing a bit too much after following her and her friends blogs, I thought I better just start my own.

I will be going off on issues and people at times, but not always. There are some good things I'll be sharing also ... hopefully more often than not.

  2. Welcome! I promise to comment here even though you are a Cowboys fan :) My first car was also a Camaro. 1985 Camaro Berlinetta. I love that car and it sits in my parents yard needing some work. I think it's time I get to it.

    I just googled this-
The 'Starship Camaro' Berlinetta was only offered during the 1984, 1985, & 1986 model years. It's concept was initially developed by A GM designer named Nelly Toledo in 1981 and included telescoping control pods and a free standing, rotating, Cassette Player with Equalizer. This cockpit design was radical and achieved it's purpose of merging the latest digital technology with aero-space inspired ergonomic controls. A Camaro Berlinetta has many hidden features that were years ahead of it's time & most *Regular* Camaro owners never even got the chance to experience !!

  3. I bought a'67 Camero in October '66 (when you still had colic). It was Marina Blue,327 v8, and cost exactly $4K. My payments were $145 mo. and my mortgage was $115. The sadest thing is I traded it for a '70 Opal Cadet..a small wagon, which was the lates fad at the time. I had kids and needed the room. Ok, I'm getting depressed.

I will keep you and other small business owners, (the backbone of this Country) in my prayers. Looks like the big boys are getting the breaks, what's up with that? It's a bumpy road we're traveling right now, hang on.

So, welcome! I'll put you on my blog list because, yeah, I want to share you with both my readers....BHE is one!

  4. Welcome to the club. I love reading BHE...she is so awesome and funny.
I love all your points about yourself, well your resume...but can I just say this: The cowboys? really?
Jeff Gordon? I loathe nascar, but love him. My hubby has met him several times and only has praises for him, plus my MIL adores him too.
    1965 is a good year...my hubby's bday too.
    Take care,
    Suz
